Let me introduce myself, I am Dr. Phil Uphold. On February 6th 2012 I will be joining the Health Quest Wellness team. I am extremely excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Megan, Dr. Allen, and their great staff.
I am a New Mexico native but have lived all over the country. I married my high school sweet heart Mandi. In June we will celebrate 13 years of marriage and have been together for 21years. Mandi has always been the sun my world revolves around. We have three awesome kids Colt, RandiLynn, and Gage.
I started getting adjusted as a young athlete by my wife’s father. Mandi comes from a chiropractic family that has been practicing in New Mexico since 1954. I followed in the footsteps of the two previous generations and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. I graduated in 2004. For the last seven years I have practiced with my fatherin-law and sister-in-law in Farmington.
My chiropractic passion is children. As a parent the greatest gift we can give our children is good health. For my family chiropractic is not just a profession it is a way of life. My kids have never taken a medication of any kind (including vaccines), have never missed a day of school because they were sick, and have only seen a medical doctor because of a trauma. I know because they eat healthy, exercise daily, and get adjusted weekly, they are on a path toward a life time of great health. There is an abundance of intelligence, athleticism, and health waiting to be released in every child but few ever reach their full potential because they are subluxated.
Out side of chiropractic, life revolves around my kids. We are always on the run. All three of our kids are involved in sports, church activities, or music. We have attended Bloomfield first Baptist since returning from Iowa. My wife has been active in MOPS, and Vacation Bible School. When we get time we enjoy camping, hiking, and skiingsnowboarding. I am an avid hunter whether in the mountains for big game with my bow or field hunting with my two Weimaraners. While in the Marine Corps I perfected my shooting skills and am a member of our local shooters club.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about my family and me. Coming to Health Quest is a dream come true. I look forward to meeting and adjusting all of you.
God Bless,
Phillip M. Uphold, D.C.
